The Avant-garde Way Of MBA Learning

No matter if you are the guy who just ventured into opening up your own business for the first time or if you are the seasoned entrepreneur there is no denying that keeping up to date with your business knowledge is key. Forget wasting time and money going online to do this, I am talking about trying something fresh and innovative which is working with the latest technological trend of M-Learning, specifically using the MBA Learning Studio. Platinum Edition app developed by Intersog for the iPad.

Purely for the amount of information alone that this app offers makes it worthwhile to download. There are 34 courses to explore through each with numerous associated chapters covering the whole gamut from Risk In Project Analysis to Listening and Making Oral Presentations. All the articles and course-work  are based from acknowledged MBA level course texts and academic classes so you know you are getting the real goods. Along with the vast amount of thorough articles and detailed examples in each chapter of the app are some valuable bonus components, the interactive flashcards and the chapter-level tests. These are added for the purposes of helping you review and comprehend each chapter. For example how the flashcards do this is by giving a detailed description of why each multiple choice answer is incorrect or correct for each question, thus providing the reasoning for you to better understand.

Working through each course and chapter felt natural and easy to do for the central reason of the intuitiveness of the apps’ interface. What first happens when you select a course is a brief summary of what the course entails be displayed on the side. Then once you go into (LAUNCH) the course some fundamental features will appear on the screen that make learning from this app more straightforward. On the bottom a Glossary feature will be there to provide for you definitions of the terms in each course and on the top you will have a Bookmark and Search feature show up. The greatest component which is throughout the whole app were the three bars, they represent the amount (% or color) you have accomplished for reading text, doing flashcards and taking an exam in each course and chapter, also the Bookmarks will show you the percentage of what you have done in the chapter so you can start from where you last left off without missing a beat and not start over.

I’ll admit its not all praise for the MBA Learning Studio app. First I thought that they could have added more flashcards and test questions in each chapter to really rigorously test the user. Alongside this there could have been more randomness developed for the selection of answers so not to always have the same answer correspond with the same letter choice.  For the exams it would have been nice if it was similar to the flashcards in that there could have been detailed descriptions of why each answer was right or wrong for each question. One more thing to mention was encountering a crash with the app but it was only the one time. Overall though these negatives do not even come close to outweighing the great features that this app offers and won’t deter me from continuing to use it.

Whenever you guys require an excellent business resource, reference or supplement the innovative MBA Learning Studio app has got you covered and with this app you will be taking a journey into the new wave of M-Learning.
